Marlene Lerer is an early childhood education specialist having successfully opened and operated many preschools and childcare centers in the United States. In 1976, Marlene founded the Suzuki School, working with Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, the internationally acclaimed musician and educator. He was the creator of the Suzuki Method of Music Education. He developed a method for teaching music to young children. Marlene adapted his philosophy to a preschool education curriculum.  Suzuki Preschools are successfully operating in Georgia and Massachusetts and continue to grow both in numbers and in profitability. Children when moving on to public and private schools, are fully prepared for success in their social and academic education.  Marlene holds a B.S. in Education and a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio State and Cleveland State Universities.  As your hands on consultant, Marlene will guide you through opening a preschool, complying with local, state, and federal regulations, staff training and other important business aspects of running a successful operation.
